We assume that you did not buy a high-profile car without expecting it to last a lot longer than a domestic make. You can’t expect it to give you the longevity that you seek without regular maintenance. All German vehicles absolutely require that factory scheduled maintenance be performed as outlined in their owner’s manual.
In very few cases, however, does the owner’s manual dictate that you should have this maintenance done at the dealership. Two things that are generally understood about having all of your maintenance done there…1.) it will take longer and 2) it will cost more. Is that really necessary to get top-flight service?
